How This Works
Use this page to prepare a new PV Cell or PV Module record for the website team. Fill in the fields below and the page will generate the txt record in the exact order required by the site data workflow.
When you click the submit button, your default email application will open with the txt record already placed in the email body for the configured admin email.
What to prepare
Gather the record year, efficiency, institution name, author list if available, legend subtype, the solar stack chemistry as comma-separated materials, electrode chemistry as comma-separated materials, the test environment, test centre, country of fabrication if known, and the publication or source link before you start.
What this page does
The preview below automatically formats the record into the same one-field-per-line txt structure that the admin workflow expects, so you do not need to guess the order manually.
Manual Record Fields
List the stack in device order, front to rear, separated with commas. Example: ITO, SnO2, MAPbI3, Spiro-OMeTAD, Au. Use commas only between materials, not inside a single compound. For example, use Cu(InGa)Se2 rather than Cu(In,Ga)Se2.
List individual electrode materials separated with commas. Example: ITO, Au.
Optional. Add the lab or test centre where the measurement or certification test took place.
Optional. Add the country where the device or module was fabricated.
Use this for certification details such as IEC 61215, UL 61730, certifier name, certificate number, or any uncertainty the admin should review.
Optional. Add a public certificate link if available. If you are attaching the certificate manually in email, note that in the field below.
The browser cannot attach files automatically to a mailto email, but the selected filename will be included in the message so you remember to attach it manually.
Optional but recommended for citation tools. Separate authors with semicolons in citation order.
Optional. Use DOI format such as 10.1038/example.
Use YYYY, YYYY-MM, or YYYY-MM-DD if the precise date is known.
Chemicals entered manually or extracted from a paper appear here. PubChem CIDs, ChEMBL IDs, ChemSpider IDs, ECHA CHEM IDs, and J-GLOBAL/Nikkaji values can be filled automatically where the database supports it or typed manually.
Manufacturing Methodology And LCA
Describe the manufacturing route and materials for cells or modules. The local screening calculator maps matching entries to ecoinvent-compatible process factors for an OpenLCA/SimaPro-style contribution preview.
Use free text or pipe-separated rows. Include deposition, annealing, printing, cleaning, lamination, soldering, encapsulation, framing, and module assembly steps where known.
Works for cell stacks and module bills of materials. Add substrates, TCOs, absorber precursors, transport layers, solvents, metals, encapsulants, frames, junction boxes, and process gases.
The bundled table is an ecoinvent-compatible screening structure, not a licensed ecoinvent release. Admins can replace the local factor table with exported ecoinvent/openLCA/SimaPro factors for audited calculations.
